We are looking for an energetic account executive with 5+ years of outside sales and business de...velopment experience to assist in increasing and maintaining our market share for the state of Florida.
Responsibilities
As an IDA account executive, you will identify, develop and maintain relationships with the various DSD brands and depots within your market. You will be responsible for providing a face to the IDA and it’s capabilities and driving business to a centralized processing unit. You will also be responsible for maintaining market share, retention and loss ratio for your territory.
The Independent Distributor Alliance (IDA) is the largest network of independent distributors (DSD) in the country. We provide compliant services to the distributor and management back to the brands they contract with. We offer limited legal services (incorporating) as well as the commercial auto, general liability and inland marine coverage’s necessary for a distributor to conduct business. A partial list of the brands we support are Snyder’s, Pepperidge Farms, Bimbo, Flowers, Missions, as well as a multitude of other bread and snack brands throughout the country. The IDA’s association programs represents the most comprehensive and cost effective offering supported by industry experts. We are national in scale with distributors in every corner of the country.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 5+ years’ experience in DSD or outside sales
• No Insurance background required
• Demonstrated analytical thinking and ability to problem solve
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently to meet objectives
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
